Incoming Women's Tennis Association (WTA) leader Valerie Camillo understands working around the clock from past positions - such as her time as a board member for a tourism firm that operates American iconic singer Dolly Parton's tourist attractions.

Beyond her contributions into Parton's brand empire, Camillo arrives at the helm at women's tennis bringing extensive background in sports and media, with past roles in strategic positions at the world's premier basketball league, National Hockey League (NHL) and professional baseball.

Camillo will begin her tenure at the WTA this November, replacing the veteran Steve Simon, whose 10-year tenure is ending as he steps down.
